The Teslar team had an amazing time in San Diego, CA last week at the Jack Henry Connect 2022 conference! Conference attendees Colin Savells, David Hamrick, and Jacob McDaniel sat down to discuss their favorite parts of the event.

In our early days, JAC was one of the first conferences Teslar ever attended, and everyone was excited to be back again this year. “I love the Jack Henry conference. It’s an event I look forward to each year. Jack Henry users are some of the best folks in banking and I have really missed the opportunity to see each other face to face the past two years,” says David Hamrick, Sr. Account Executive at Teslar Software.

The team was especially excited to kick off fall conference season after many events have been postponed or moved to virtual the past couple of years. Colin adds, “Seeing people in person after speaking with them over Zoom the past few years was the best part of this conference.”

Our Account Executives have had many deep, albeit remote conversations with Jack Henry banks over the past two years, but as Jacob says, “we had the opportunity to establish in-person connections with people we had only talked to virtually. It was nice to have that in-person connection back.” David also adds, “everyone seemed to feel the same way as they were anxious to catch up and pick up where we left off.”

Everyone agrees that one of the best things about Jack Henry conferences are opportunities to build relationships with innovative bankers. Jacob mentioned, “this was my first time attending a Jack Henry conference and it was a great experience. The number of bankers there actively looking at innovative products like Teslar was amazing.” And David adds, “One of my favorite aspects of JAC is the collaboration that takes place between fintech companies and the banks that they serve. Jack Henry bankers are genuinely interested in discussing technology and automation and we have a great opportunity for relationship building.”

Lastly, the team is always grateful to catch up with current clients. “This is one of the most fun conferences to attend since we work with so many Jack Henry banks.  In addition to the opportunities to speak with new bankers, we also got to meet bankers we have been working with for years,” says Colin.

Our team is grateful for another great year at Jack Henry Connect. The connections, education, and feedback on our solution are so valuable to our teammates and company. We’re looking forward to another great time next year in Indianapolis, IN!
