Welcome Karl to the Team

Please join us in welcoming Karl Brown to our Support team as the newest Support Dispatcher!

Karl joins us with experience in the surveying industry drafting technical drawings to ensure that property is correctly conforming to legal zoning standards. Although new to the fintech industry, he is tech savvy and has many lifelong technology-focused skills and interests.

In his role here at Teslar, Karl will support our clients by diagnosing and resolving software-related issues and errors and boosting the efficiency of our Support team by analyzing known issues and routing them appropriately.

We chatted with Karl and asked him a few “getting to know you” questions to help us get better acquainted:

What kind of music do you like?

I enjoy Folk and Hip Hop because both genres have a long history. I find a fiddle and a good breakbeat equally fun to move to when the mood hits me.

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?

My mother taught me to cross stitch and that hobby has carried into adulthood. I’ve gained an appreciation for pixel art through video games and find joy in translating it to fabric.

What’s the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten?

I don’t think I’ve tried anything too far out of the box, maybe tripe or alligator. I enjoyed both of those and haven’t run into many foods I dislike.

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?

Spending time with the ones I love. I’ve found that whether I’m hitting the trails or the river, going to a movie, tabletop gaming, or touring a museum, I always want to be sharing my time with folks I care about.
