2019 Cybersecurity AwarenessNational Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) may be coming to an end, but we hope our continuous coverage has placed this very important topic at the top of your mind. Our goal this month was to provide tools, resources and information that can truly move the cybersecurity awareness needle. As we discussed throughout our articles this month, multi-factor authentication and secure password protection are imperative to protecting your organization. Also, you must continually educate your employees of the tactics cyber criminals use so that they can prevent and protect your institution. One idea is to provide examples of what a phishing email look. This will allow your employees to recognize and report any potential attacks.

Something that is equally as important is protecting your family, which includes your home and personal devices. To limit your risk of a cyber attack you should not have the same password for everything. If you missed our blog post about strong passwords and how to store them, check it out here. You also need to ensure that you are only connecting to WiFi networks you trust. We talk all about this here

Thanks for following us throughout the month! We can't wait for NCSAM 2020, and we look forward to providing you all new tips to keep your family and your organization safe from cyber criminals. As technology advances, so does the knowledge and creativity of criminals. There will never be a shortage of topics and information on cybersecurity, that we are 💯 sure about!
